Do you ship internationally?
I will sell and ship to all locations Swiss Post ships to, except for the UK. The new regulations currently make it impossible for me to ship to the UK via my website. I'm currently looking into some solutions to that.
Please keep in mind that due to current events, some shipping options and/or destinations are/can become unavailable.
Please check for the current restrictions here, on the Swiss Post website, before placing your order. I cannot be held responsible for any issues or delays due to transit restrictions. Should you pick an untracked option, please be aware that you do so at your own risk.
What's with the untracked options?
While registered parcels are tracked and insured, they're also more expensive. The current issues with the postal services mean that all parcels are getting delayed, whether they're tracked or not, some by several weeks. While having a parcel registered doesn't prevent it from getting lost, being able to track it usually brings peace of mind for all parties involved.
Please keep in mind that while untracked parcels do have a shipping number, it only indicates the date and time at which it was recorded by the post office. Because of this, while I do have proof of shipment, I will not be able to help you should your parcel go missing. TL;DR: Registered mail for international orders is strongly advised, especially with the current situation.
Are the taxes already taken care of?
No, they are not. Please be aware that I send everything out VAT-free, which means I am not responsible for any customs duties and fees you may have to pay. To get an idea of the fees you may have to pay, check here.
How is shipping calculated?
Shipping prices are based on Swiss Post pricing, which is weight based. The website estimates the final parcel weight based on what is in your cart. Should the parcel end up being lighter than estimated, and qualify for a lower price bracket, I will refund you the difference.
